PVFC attended the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between PetroVietnam and Mozambique partners In two days from November 30 to December 1, 2009, General Director Tong Quoc Truong and Vice Chairman Vu Huy An of PVFC joined the delegation of PetroVietnam, by Mr. Dinh La Thang – Member of the Central Party Committee – President of PVN leading to visit and work with the Ministry and Mozambique National Oil and Gas Corporation to concretize the contents of cooperation that both countries' leaders have approved, promoting the cooperation between PetroVietnam and Mozambique’ partners to expand the investment to Africa. Participate in working sessions with the present of Mr. Dang Giang, Ambassador of Vietnam in Mozambique.

The delegation had working with the Chairman cum General Director of the Mozambique National Oil and Gas Corporation (ENH), Investment management Office (SPI), the Institute National Petroleum Management (INP); Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Minister of Mozambique’ Ministry of Energy.
The ministers of Mozambique and its partners high appreciate the relationship between the two countries which was expressed by the visit of the senior of the two countries.
During this visit, on the afternoon of January 12, 2009, at the Headoffice of the Mozambique National Oil and Gas Corporation in Maputo, PetroVietnam has signed cooperation agreement between PetroVietnam with ENH / SPI in the Petroleum field in facilitating expansion of investment in exploitation of oil and gas in Mozambique, Vietnam and the third countries; signed cooperation agreement between PetroVietnam and SPI in promoting the investment of the parties in Mozambique, Vietnam in the fields which are interested by the two countries, for the time being, SPI will introduce some of projects in mining, manufacturing and power transmission ... in Mozambique.
