State Bank Governor and PetroVietnam President paid visit to PVFC 
On the first working day of the Luna New Year (Feb 22nd 2010), Mr. Nguyen Van Giau - State Bank Gorvernor, and Mr. Dinh La Thang – PetroVietnam President has visited and wished PVFC a happy new year.
At the meeting, Mr. Tong Quoc Truong – PVFC General Director reported to them PVFC’ achievements in 2009 and targets in 2010. At the end of 2009, PVFC had completed targets and plans as followings: revenue: 5, 658 billions VND (145% of target), profit before tax: 611 billions VND (153% of target), total asset: 64, 652 billions VND (by Dec 31st 2009). This year, PVFC planned to get: revenue: 5,059 billions VND, profit before tax: 1,032 billions VND (after reservation according to Regulations of Finance Ministry and State Bank of Vietnam).
Mr. Nguyen Van Giau highly valuated PVFC’ efforts to overcome difficulties and to turn crisis in to opportunities for development and excellent performance, as well as its practical ideas to the State and the Party in building and completing policies.
The Governor also gave out constructive ideas for PVFC’ development, such as: the Corporation’ regulation and policy should follow international standard, upgrade leaders’ management skills, professionalize staff’ performance, apply modern technology system, development scale for each year must follow Corporation’ strategy and year plans…
Receiving new year wishes and souvenir from the Governor, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Lam – PVFC’ President, on behalf of the Corporation’ leaders and staffs, expressed thankfulness and promised to try its best, more and more to complete all the targets and plans in 2010, and to meet the State and Party’ demand and trust in PVFC.

On the occasion of 80th anniversary of Vietnam Party (3/2/1930 – 3/2/2010), on Feb 2, 2010, Petrovietnam Finance Corporation (PVFC) and New Hanoi Arts Company – the project manager of “Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural” held the inauguration the first phase. PVFC HCM began construction of The Office Building No. 43 Mac Dinh Chi St.On Jan 30th 2010, PVFC, PVFCCo and PV Oil – the 3 investors from PetroVietnam has organized the ground breaking ceremony of The Office Building No. Mac Dinh Chi St. Construction. PVFC granted the Top Trade Service Award 2009
On Jan 24th 2010, at the International Convention Center – No. 11 Le Hong Phong St. Hanoi, PVFC has been appraised and rewarded by Ministry of Industry and Commerce with the Vietnam Top Trade Service Award 2009. PVFC won the 4th position in the top 10 entrepreneurs. PVFC Vung Tau agreed to co-operate with Khang Linh Ltd.On Jan 22nd 2010, in Vung Tau City, PVFC and Khang Linh Limited Company together signed the Memorandum of Understanding in co-operation. On Jan 20th 2010, in Vung Tau City, PVFC and DIC Group (The Corporation of Development and Investment in Contruction) together signed the memorandum of understanding PVFC HCM gave financial services for Project Nhon Trach 2On Jan 12th 2010, in Hochiminh City, the Financial Advisory Contract between PV Power – Nhon Trach 2 and PVFC (HCM Branch) were successfully organized. |
