Inauguration of Hanoi mosaic mural sponsored by PVFC
On the occasion of 80th anniversary of Vietnam Party (3/2/1930 – 3/2/2010), on Feb 2, 2010, Petrovietnam Finance Corporation (PVFC) and New Hanoi Arts Company – the project manager of “Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural” held the inauguration the first phase. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Hang – Vice President of Hanoi People Committee, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tuan – Secretariat of “1000th anniversary Thang Long – Hanoi” National Management Board, Mr. Nguyen Do Bao, Hanoi Arts Association Chairman and other distinguished guests.
The 6000m “Ceramic Mosaic Mural” is a very special work to reappear the historical line from Phung Nguyen – Dong Son to Ly – Tran – Le Dynasty. PVFC is a selected representative for the phase 1 finish which contributes to Hanoi new appearance, national value maintaining. The ceramic mosaic mural part sponsored by PVFC is 68m long, carries the most specific symbols of Hanoi, such as Van Cac Pavillion, One Pillar Pagoda, The Huc Bridge, ancient Hanoi roads, O Quan Chuong Gate, Long Bien Bridge…
