Scholarship foundation “Light your Hope” awarded scholarships to poor children in the program “Wing dreams, cross rivers and lakes to school”
In the evening of Sep. 24, 2011, at Hanoi Opera House, Vietnam Study Promotion Association held a charity performance “Wing dreams, cross rivers and lakes to find knowledge” to raise funds for poor and difficult children to be able to school. The program was aired live on VTV2.
The program has attracted a large number of organizations, donors and supporters. At the ceremony, Mr. Vu Huy An – PVFC’ Party Secretary Vice Chairman, cum the Vice President of scholarship foundation "Light your Hope “ has awarded 10 scholarships worth VND6 million each for 10 handicap children.
During the past four years, the foundation has awarded scholarships to 260 poor students nationwide with a total value of over 4 billion. Currently, the foundation is reviewing 2011-2012 school year scholarship including full scholarships for 100 new students and incentives scholarships to for other 50 students.
